Jason D. Hanks, MD

Dr. Hanks is the founder and medical director of CityIV Infusion Medicine. He is a board certified and fellowship trained Anesthesiologist with over 8 years of experience. His post graduate residency training was performed at Mount Sinai School of Medicine affiliate hospitals (Morristown Memorial Hospital) and RUSH University Medical Center in Chicago. His fellowship training was performed at the renowned University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), offering world-class training in Regional Anesthesia and Perioperative Pain Management.
Although Dr. Hanks’ anesthesia training encompassed a broad base of surgical procedures (Neuro, Cardiac, Pediatric, Thoracic and Obstetrical), his area of interest lies specifically in multi-modal pain management.
Dr. Hanks is active in continuing medical education, is actively involved in community education, including medical volunteer work with NYC Surgical Cares and The Heart Fund.
He is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology a fellow of Regional Anesthesia and Perioperative Pain Management, and a member of the following societies:

His interests outside medicine include physical fitness, snowboarding, mountain biking and cooking.
